FOR A VISION WITH PRECISION

Interior

With a good sense of proportion and attention to detail Van Roosmalen designs interiors to customer specific needs. He enjoys to create both classic and modern interiors and always seeks a surprising and original design.

“By combining our experience in designing and engineering we are able to take into account the feasibility at an early stage. This way the project will develop cost effective.”

Concept

General Arrangement – Space Planning

“When the functional space requirements are known we can come up with many arrangements of the interior elements. We pay a lot of attention to the human factors because they affect manny aspects of boating life and also on the layout of the ship. Hereby interior elements interface with the deck, machinery, and the support structures; basically all the parts of the boat. This also results in a first interdisciplinary agreement.”

Creative Design – Look and Feel

“For customers who prefer the artistic feel we can add artistic value by making instant hand rendered interior drawings. These can be combined with handmade moodboards. For a more realistic view we can do computer renderings with our Rhinoceros 3D modeling software. Further we can do a first proposal of materials, hardware and equipment.”

Design

Functional Design – Eye for Detail

From a sketch or artist impression the first detailed and functional drawings are being made. The concept is being aesthetically developed. Good communication and good cooperation with the client are foremost. The result is a design that fits perfectly in the casco and where the intention of the artist comes up well.

“Designing the interior of a yacht we integrate all the functional aspects of living on a leisure boat into a working whole. Hereby we consider all the wishes and demands of the owner.”

The work is being done in the most recent version of AutoCAD and the drawings can be delevered in the style and layout of your own company.

Engineering

Technical Design – Ready for Production

“To do the engineering in an efficient way, we can start with the development of building parts in close cooperation with the client and the interior constructor. Our eye for detail and sense of proportion are never lost in this proces. Depending on the way of production this can result in both 2D drawings and 3D models. Drawing up the final hardware lists, material lists and equipment lists is disirable in this stage.

Thereafter we can make the assembly drawings (2D and 3D) and do the interdisciplanairy finetuning. The assembly drawings form the basis for making the workshop drawings. In addidtion, the drawings can be used on board for the real time assembly of the interior.

This way we can realise, within costs, an interior that exceeds expectations!”
